Emma Roberts lived with a mental illness since my diagnosis at age 19.
Sadly I have been through some very dark times, I found art , writing and comedy helped lift my spirit and improve my mental health.
Emma now split my time between caring for my son, who is also disabled.
Emma is so proudly Neurodiverse having Irlens syndrome and dyslexia which is why I wear my Blueglasses 🙂
Becoming a freelance creative coach, writer and performer has allowed me to champion neurodiversity and inclusion in the arts.
My goal is to use creativity to reduce ableism.
I believe in creative freedom to help manage your mental wellbeing which is reflected in my online business Blueglassesgirl .com

I’m worse at bios than I am at walking.
I just sit down and tell stories of how weird life is when your legs are worse at their job than Boris Johnson is at his.

Since 2005, David Eagle has been a member of three-time BBC Radio 2
Folk Award winning band The Young’uns , well-known for their comedy,
with the Guardian writing in their 5& review: “a rampant humour which
occasionally makes them appear more like standup comedians,
mercilessly mocking one another and involving the audience at every
turn …” “”The Young’uns were bravely emotional but also very funny,
thanks to the constant banter from Eagle …”
In 2018, David started performing stand up. He has been crowned New
Comedian Of The Year by Leicester square Theatre and at Bath Comedy
Festival and Nottingham Comedy Festival. He has been nominated as Best
Newcomer at the Chortle Awards. He has opened for award winning
comedians Reginald D Hunter, Tom Wrigglesworth, Adam Bloom and
regularly for Boothby Graffoe. He also starred in Tony Law and Phil
Nichol’s improvised 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show.
David is blind, and his comedy often explores how his disability means
the most ordinary, commonplace events are turned into surreal and
convoluted dramas. Occasionally he dons his accordion (often as a
spiteful repost to hecklers) and performs one of his comedy songs,
such as his George Formby parody, described by the Guardian as “a
comic tour de force.”
“Constantly hilarious, gag on gag, leaving an audience gasping in
admiration, and applause that goes on for minutes. You’ll be seeing
him on Live at the Apollo before long, guaranteed.” (Bath Echo)
“David Eagle is a genuine stand up rookie phenomenon! Looking forward
to hearing more.” (Reginald D Hunter)
“just seen the future of stand up comedy and his name is David Eagle”
(Boothby Graffoe)

Kitty has only been on the stand-up circuit since June 2019, but her very first gig earned her a nomination as a finalist for the NCF New Act of the Year Award 2019. From there, she has enjoyed bringing her unique perspective to audiences, with observations and anecdotes about her life as a bisexual, polyamorous woman of colour. Like many creatives and comedians, she also lives with mental illness and neurodiversity, with a dual-diagnosis of both bipolar disorder (type 2) and ADHD. Although she was a high academic achiever throughout school and university, her struggles with depression and executive dysfunction caused her to drop out of two different post-graduate degrees, as well as multiple jobs and hobbies. So far, though, she has managed to maintain her enthusiasm for the comedy stage, and hopes to harness her hyperactive, distractible, hypomanic energy for creative output and to fight the depression off with laughter.
Jimi Longmuir wandered into comedy by mistake in October 2018 and has kept doing it since then for some reason. He has gigged all over Scotland and sometimes the audience even laughs at the things he says onstage.
Since Lockdown started, he has kept going with zoom gigs, online videos and speaks to fellow comedians about the international scene that has sprung up on his podcast called ‘Oh Lockdown. How We Laughed…
