Episode 15 with Esperanza Phoenix

Esperanza Phoenix is an artist, both performing and visual. Her father was a Native American artist/ actor and allowed her to paint as soon as she could keep the paintbrush out of her mouth. Esperanza spent weekends on visitations traveling the powwow circuit and helping her father sell his art. This was a great opportunity to experience the culture and meet treasured elders in the community. Sadly, her father was also a narcissist and a pedophile. Esperanza’s mother was too focused on her career as a teacher to recognize the signs abuse and get help for her daughter. Ms. Phoenix first acted professionally as an extra in Little House on the Prairie. She didnt know her father was getting paid for it, but she enjoyed getting to meet Micheal Landon and play with the kids in the cast.

Emma Roberts lived with a mental illness since my diagnosis at age 19.
Sadly I have been through some very dark times, I found art , writing and comedy helped lift my spirit and improve my mental health.

Emma now split my time between caring for my son, who is also disabled.

Emma is so proudly Neurodiverse having Irlens syndrome and dyslexia which is why I wear my Blueglasses 🙂

Becoming a freelance creative coach, writer and performer has allowed me to champion neurodiversity and inclusion in the arts.

My goal is to use creativity to reduce ableism.

I believe in creative freedom to help manage your mental wellbeing which is reflected in my online business Blueglassesgirl .com

Jonny Brook

I’m worse at bios than I am at walking.

I just sit down and tell stories of how weird life is when your legs are worse at their job than Boris Johnson is at his.
